Gah! Well, I've been rather depressed lately and so haven't felt very artistic. I've been trying for the past year to get a job with a total lack of success. I'm getting rather desperate at this point. Starting to think it might be a good idea to go back to school and complete that much coveted Bachelors degree. Only problem is I have to find a way to finance it without taking out any loans. Soooo I'm currently looking at Western Michigan University as it's still in Michigan (and therefore I can get State aid), it's relatively inexpensive as universities go, and it has as spectacular Art program. Next problem is that I've never really had many actual art classes and so am rather unskilled in anything that doesn't involve either a camera or a computer and so am scared stiff about the portfolio review and drawing/design exercises I've got to submit with my application. I didn't start thinking about this till it was too late to apply for Fall semester and so I'm stuck with waiting till next Winter to begin classes. If I can get enough funding to go in the first place. ::sigh:: Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait and bite my nails till I find out.
